Alan really connected with X and took on board his strengths and interests to plan the sessions... This has opened up X’s world and made a huge difference to his quality of life. He is able to tell people what he wants, the things he likes and dislikes. He can tell jokes and talk to people about the things that interest him. It has enabled staff to fully appreciate how much X knows about things. There are still a lot of people that X would like to speak to but doesn’t yet feel confident enough to do so. However, he has made that all important first step and is going from strength to strength.

I have always been scared on planes and it felt like it was getting worse. I had began to avoid holidays needing flights. I tried hypnotherapy to see if it might help with keeping me calm. I've been on a plane since. I still felt scared (it is still flying in a metal bird high in the sky!!!!) but I was able to practice my breathing techniques and keep my mind in a good shape. I have been using my breathing techniques at other times too. The relaxation techniques really help in many ways. Thank you

I had trained trainers and dogs that had gone on to win major trophies, but I'd never managed to win any big prizes myself. It just never came together on the day.
